Seeking ED experts to interview on the topic of Orthorexia Nervosa

My name is Amy Ross and I am a PhD candidate at Northwestern University. I am currently seeking clinicians and healthcare providers from different backgrounds (Psychiatry, Psychology, Nutrition, Medicine, Social Work, Nursing, etc.) who would be willing to talk about their professional opinions and experiences with regards to the proposed diagnosis of orthorexia nervosa. My dissertation focuses broadly on the production and circulation of knowledge of orthorexia.  I am interested in speaking to professionals from different countries.

The interview has three main parts. The first one focuses on orthorexia generally; the second has to do with where clinicians have learned about or seen information about it, and the third has to do with experience treating patients. I am conducting the interviews virtually on a videoconferencing service (I have been using BlueJeans but am open to using a different platform or telephone if that is preferred), and anticipate the interviews to take about 30 minutes. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate almost any day/time (weekdays or weekends).

The IRB ID for the study at Northwestern is: STU00206571. The Principal Investigator (PI) is Dr. Pablo Boczkowski, who is my committee chair, and I am listed as the Co-PI. If you are willing to participate or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact me at: amyross2019@u.northwestern.edu.

Beforehand, I greatly appreciate your consideration of this request.

Kind regards,
Amy Ross
